What is ?
Fotona Deep resurfacing is for patients concerned with deep wrinkles, acne scars, and irregular skin texture. Fotona's flexibility enables us to fine-tune treatments based on your specific skin condition, ranging from a light peel to deep collagen remodeling.
Treatment Procedure
Numbing cream is applied to maximize comfort. The first beam conditions the skin by penetrating deep into the skin using heat energy. The second beam gently removes old skin with precise micro-ablated channels. Lastly, the skin is ablated with a light peeling beam that removes superficial imperfections.
Post-Treatment Care
Most patients experience 48 hours of redness that resembles a sunburn. The skin will continue to gradually peel and slough off over the next seven days. It's recommended to avoid sun exposure, make up application and exercise for 48 hours after treatment. Keeping your skin hydrated and protected is the most important factor in your healing. Applying SPF 30 or higher as well as using a medical grade moisturizer is recommended.
