What is ?
Using our LightSheer Laser, the laser targets the melanin in the hair to provide permanent hair reduction on almost any area of the body. It's useful for preventing ingrown hairs as well. Many patients see almost complete hair removal with only very few, fine hairs appearing.
Treatment Procedure
Our LightSheer Laser is the top choice in laser hair removal as it is a true laser (not IPL) and has a built in chill-tip to cool skin and maximize comfort. Treatment is done by one of our skilled laser technicians and is very tolerable. Many patients compare the procedure to a rubber band snap on the skin.
Post-Treatment Care
There is no downtime with Laser Hair Removal so patients can return to their daily activities right away! The treatment area may appear slightly reddened for two to three days post treatment due to the heating of the hair follicle but will subside on its own. We recommend to avoid soaking in hot tubs or baths for 24 hours post treatment. To maximize results we recommend applying sunscreen on the treatment area for six weeks to protect the area. It's recommended to exfoliate the area one week after treatment to help prevent any ingrown hairs.
